Launched in March 2020, Salivation Snackfoods answers the prayers of those pursuing keto lifestyles . . . with brownies! (They answer paleo and gluten-free prayers, too). With no added sugar, no artificial sweeteners, and only 3g net carbs for the whole freakin’ thing, these snacks are the perfect “go to” when you crave something sweet, but you don’t want to cheat. Developed with a little help from a top pastry chef and keto experts, Salivation’s brownies are big on taste but low in net carbs.

Offered in 3 sinfully delicious flavors: Dark Chocolate, Macadamia Nut, and Walnut Choc Chip. 8-pack cartons are available for $33.95 on the company’s website. Individual 2.5oz (70g) brownies are available in Southern California at Erewhon, Bristol Farms, Lassen’s, Clark’s Nutrition, and other fine grocers.

Founding Story

Brad and Andrew had been friends for over 20 years before creating Salivation Snackfoods. They had both just left Corporate Marketing jobs, and wanted to launch a food or beverage brand that would do some good. Their close friend, Dave, had been using the Keto diet to treat a serious health condition. Brad had been Paleo for years. For both diets, there just weren’t enough packaged food options (and even fewer that tasted any good) which made sticking to their diets hard. So, Brad and Andrew set out to change the way America snacks by offering delicious, better-for-you baked desserts. And they started it all off with the Almighty Brownie.

Brad has over a decade of Food and Beverage Marketing experience, having led North America Marketing at Naked Juice, Izze Sparkling Juice, Lavazza Coffee, C4 Energy, and Dogswell. Prior to his career in Food and Beverage, he spent 9 years at Mattel in a variety of roles across the Strategy, Licensing, and Marketing departments. Brad was a Strategy Consultant both after graduating with a BA in Psychology and a BS in Economics from the University of Pennsylvania’s College of Arts & Sciences and Wharton School of Business and after receiving his MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.

Andrew Chi

Andrew has over 20 years of Marketing experience across many categories. Andrew worked on Food and Beverage brand Butterfinger and helped launch POM Wonderful. He oversaw marketing for Location-Based brand Arclight Cinemas and created and managed national programs for Westfield Properties. He spent 11 years in Mattel’s Licensing department where he was responsible for managing multiple categories within the Softlines Division for most of Mattel’s brands. Andrew holds a BA in Economics from the University of California, Los Angeles and an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University. He also sits on the Board of Directors for CicLAvia in Los Angeles.
